The Priory Centre

1990 saw the opening of The Priory Centre. It is a modern functional annexe to the church and is used for a variety of events. Most of the funding for the centre was raised through the sale of the old school building and as such is an educational foundation.

A board of trustees manage the day to day affairs of the building. The building is let on most evenings and hosts a variety of groups ranging from a local pipe band to a ladies discussion group.

The members of St. Andrew's Church also use the building extensively for their activities ranging from fellowship meetings to regular social events. The centre can also be hired for wedding receptions, christenings and birthday parties. Doors open onto a grassed courtyard providing space for summer functions.

The Priory Centre boast excellent facilities including a microwave oven, double-oven, a fridge-freezer and two dishwashers. There are facilities for the disabled, including toilets, and the whole building is on a single storey.

The Priory Centre is available for hire to outside parties at a rate of £15 per hour

Bookings can be made through the Parish Priest:
